Registration Information

AVGSL utilizes an online registration system. This will make the registration process easier for all. We are using the same provider that AVYSL has been using for years, so those familiar with soccer registration should feel right at home.

AVGSL is a 100% volunteer run league and we ask all families to help in the Snack Shack. This year AVGSL will be offering a $50 "Buy Out" option for families that wish to "opt out" of the Volunteer Hours that would need to be worked in the Snack Shack. This "Buy Out" option will be available as part of the registration process. You can also encourage friends and family members who don't have children playing in the league to volunteer.

There are a few things to note about the Registration Process:

  • This year AVGSL will be collecting registration fees based on the division your child will be playing in.
    Divisions 6U and 8U Registration Fee is - $195
    Divisions 10U, 12U, and 14U/16U Registration Fee is - $225
  • To determine what age division your daughter will play in, please check out the

  • When you login into the system it will ask for an email address.
  • Check/Verify all the Player information.
  • Enter the Player’s Shirt and Short sizes, otherwise they may get a uniform that does not fit. The uniforms tend to run small, so please take that into consideration.
  • Enter all the parent/guardian information, including all phone numbers.
  • You must pay by Credit Card (VISA, MC, or Discover only)
  • Refund Policy: 100% refund for any player dropping out prior to Opening Day, No refund after Opening Day.
  • Requests: We try to honor requests for the 6U division and will be accepting only ONE request for the 8U division, and the request is NOT guaranteed. Team equality is the priority in the 8U division. Teams in the 10U division and up are determined by a draft.
  • Player Evaluation Day: All Players in the 10U divisions and up are required to attend the Player Evaluation Day so teams of equal strength may be setup.

    06U – Mon, Wed, Sat
    08U – Tue, Thu, Sat
    10U – Mon, Wed, Sat
    12U – Tue, Thu, Sat
    14/16U – Mon, Wed, Sat
    * Fridays are used in some age groups

Coaches: we need you!

Without Coaches we would not have a softball league. Without our “brick and mortar” registration we won’t be able to recruit coaches as we have in the past so please consider volunteering to coach.

 

Registration Fees:

$195 -  per Player for 6U and 8U Divisions.

$225  - per Player for 10U, 12U, and 14U/16U Divisions.

$25 Late Fee will be applied for any player registered after 1/20/2013.

Registration Fees pay for league improvements, field usage/maintenance, uniforms (socks, shorts, shirt, visor), umpires (10U and up), PAL and ASA dues and team equipment bags.
