AVGSL's main goal is to insure that the players are in a fun, positive environment while learning and expanding their softball skills. AVGSL promotes a sense of belonging for everyone. We emphasize teamwork and the sense of individual success that contribute to team sports. No player will sit out more than 2 innings during a game, thereby providing a player to make contributions to their team and participate in a large part of all activities.

Welcome to the Almaden Valley Girls Softball League!

Opening Day 2010 is a Blast!

Fun was had by all on Opening Day held at Graystone Elementary. We had a super parade followed by a great barbeque lunch. Much thanks to all the Almaden Valley families that contributed to making this such a successful event and a great jump start to another fun filled year of softball.

AVGSL Continues Player Registration

We are currently accepting Wait List registrations. We have a few openings in each division except 16U.

After you register if there is room in your division you will be cleared from the Wait List, placed on a team and contacted. If the Wait List doesn't clear you will be given a 100% refund.

AVGSL is a 100% volunteer run league. This year we've eliminated the Volunteer buy-out fee and ask that every family volunteer to support the league. We really need help in the Snack Shack. Information on volunteer opportunities will be sent out soon. You can also encourage friends and family members who don't have children playing in the league to volunteer.
