AVGSL's main goal is to insure that the players are in a fun, positive environment while learning and expanding their softball skills. AVGSL promotes a sense of belonging for everyone. We emphasize teamwork and the sense of individual success that contribute to team sports. No player will sit out more than 2 innings during a game, thereby providing a player to make contributions to their team and participate in a large part of all activities.

The Almaden Lightning is comprised of the very best players from the Almaden Valley Girls Softball League.
The Lightning 14U team will be formed in early May and will play in 5 tournaments beginning June 7th and ending July 20th. Practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday during the Tournament Season and Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for weeks without tournaments.
The approximate charges for each player are $180 for the tournament entry fees and $100 for uniforms. If you have any questions please contact Head Coach Ivo Landre @ 408-705-0713.
