AVGSL's main goal is to insure that the players are in a fun, positive environment while learning and expanding their softball skills. AVGSL promotes a sense of belonging for everyone. We emphasize teamwork and the sense of individual success that contribute to team sports. No player will sit out more than 2 innings during a game, thereby providing a player to make contributions to their team and participate in a large part of all activities.

The Almaden Lightning is comprised of the very best players from the Almaden Valley Girls Softball League.
The Lightning 12UB team wwill play in 7 tournaments beginning Memorial Day Weekend and ending in mid July. Practices will be held every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the Tournament Season.
The approximate charges for each player are $220 for the tournament entry fees and $100 for uniforms. If you have any questions please contact Head Coach Peter Fuqua @ 408-396-7817.
